- Do hairless cats really need sun protection?
Yes — vets consistently flag ears and noses of hairless and white-coated cats for UV damage risk. A hat plus limiting peak-sun window time is the practical combo.
- Will my cat just knock it off?
The ear openings do most of the work — most hats fail because they pin the ears. Introduce it in short sessions with treats; the chin strap handles the rest.
- Is it enough for outdoor adventures?
